ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
This exhibition was born from a habit of seeing what is lost, old, forgotten, and strange. It aims to transform the overlooked, over-used, forgotten, and weathered into an opportunity to see history, humanity, and beauty in what most would consider to be nowhere.
The exhibition starts next door to Windsor and ends next to Boss Braiders’ Academy.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
“Barstow” Steve Smith is an historian, research archivist, audiophile, and public speaker. He is also, of course, a photographer. With a fondness for surrealism and documenting decaying remains of the last century, his artistic vision reminds us that there is beauty in the most overlooked of places.

This Month: Steven Michael Schwartz
Musical performer and composer Stephen Michael Schwartz is known to children and their parents across the nation as one third of the phenomenally popular musical group, PARACHUTE EXPRESS. In existence for over 30+ years, PARACHUTE EXPRESS has twelve award-winning albums to their credit and are known as the musical backbone of the internationally established Gymboree Play and Music Program. Stephen is also a show business veteran who began his career at the age of twelve. Stephen has been featured both on TV and in film as well as has many musical composing and producer projects to his credit. HIS MUSICAL "IT CAME FROM BEYOND" debuted off Broadway and ran for over a year!
As an actor Stephen starred in his own half-hour series on NBC, “Please Stand By” and “THE MUSIC SHOPPE” (SKYLARK PRODUCTIONS). As a songwriter Stephen’s compositions have appeared in numerous films and TV shows (“Grumpy Old Men”, Stephen Spielberg’s “Amazing Stories” and the popular children’s animated series, “JAY JAY THE JET PLANE”). his songs have been performed by such diverse artists as Barry Manilow, Ben Harper, & Trace Adkins.

This month: The BeatBuds
Reality TV watchers might already be familiar with the Buds. They appeared in a 2014 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, where they performed at a “Kidchella”-themed 1st birthday party for North West, daughter of Kim and Kanye. (She has had them back since.) They ?also had a cameo on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, playing for Teddi Mellencamp (daughter of John) and her son.
