AVM Sound-Off is a one-night, high-energy music competition spotlighting Antelope Valley’s rising artists. After a month-long submission and judging process, the top 12 take the stage June 27 for a live showdown. The crowd helps decide who advances, the top three perform again, and industry judges crown the winner.

MEET THE JUDGES
JEFF BLUE
Legendary A&R executive, award-winning songwriter, and mega-platinum record producer with a remarkable track record in shaping musical talent. His roster includes Grammy Award winners such as Linkin Park, Macy Gray, Limp Bizkit, Aaliyah, Korn, Matchbox Twenty, Hoobastank, and Daniel Powter, achieving over 171 million album sales worldwide.

Artist development visionary and BMikeRob Entertainment founder whose work spans global talent mentorship, large-scale music production, and partnerships with top executives, influencers, and leaders across the entertainment industry. As an executive talent scout, Mike has worked with major platforms such as BET, America’s Got Talent, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, and more.

Multi-GRAMMY Award-winning and six-time Emmy-nominated producer, musician, writer, creative director, and music business executive. His work has been praised by NPR, Billboard, and The New York Times. In 2025, he and his wife, Alisha Gaddis, won the GRAMMY Award for Best Children’s Album, further cementing his impact in family entertainment.

GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum producer and Detroit-born music executive known for charting records and high-profile collaborations with artists including Kelly Rowland, Faith Evans, and Keke Wyatt. As CEO of Strategic Media Entertainment and owner of TheMICLive and The MiCComedy, Moss continues to shape music, media, and live entertainment.

A veteran producer, vocalist, and vocal architect with over 25 years in the industry. He has performed with artists including Charlie Wilson, Jamie Foxx, and Macy Gray, and toured with Britney Spears and NSYNC. His production and writing credits include work with Bell Biv DeVoe and collabs with Heavy D, spanning R&B, hip-hop, and house music.

DEBBY CLINKENBEARD
A songwriter, producer, recording artist, and multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years in the industry. She has released two records, performed nationwide, and currently writes for multi-Grammy Award–winning artists. She has served as a booking agent & tour manager for a boutique record label in Louisville, Kentucky. As Marketing Manager at Antelope Valley Mall, she produces live events like AVM Sound Off.
HOW IT WORKS
Entry Period (May 1 – May 31)
Artists (ages 16+, Antelope Valley) submit their entries across all genres.Judging Round (June 1 – June 14)
Industry judges review all submissions and select the top 12 semi-finalists.Semi-Finalist Announcement (June 15)
